    The Hive Student Emergency Grant

At Baker College, our purpose is for you to meet your academic and life goals. We recognize that this can be a long journey; one that is not always easy. Sometimes, unexpected things happen that threaten your ability to meet those goals. The Hive Student Emergency Grant exists to help you out in these moments that you need a bit more financial support to continue on your path to transforming your life and the world around you.

You may apply for an emergency grant once you have exhausted other resources including, but not limited to, all financial aid eligibility. The funding is a one-time nonrenewable grant and will not need to be repaid. The maximum request amount is $1000. Please be prepared to submit documentation to support your request. Documentation file types may include: PDFs, JPGs, or PNG files of bills, invoices, etc. Once your application is submitted, a committee of trained Baker College staff will review it to ensure that all eligibility requirements are met. Approved funds will be applied to your BankMobile account in approximately 3-5 days.

See application information below and please contact the Dean of Students at [email protected] with additional questions or support needs.
