Getting Into Baker College
Students must hold a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) to apply.
We look at more than just test scores and GPAs.
As a test-optional college, we don’t require SAT or ACT scores for admissions. Additionally, we know COVID-19 has impacted students in a variety of ways. Baker College uses a comprehensive application review, meaning we look at you as a whole person with more to offer than a grade point average.

Applying to Baker College is free. There is no application fee for first-year, transfer, or returning students.
No, Baker College does not require ACT or SAT scores as a condition of admission. However, submitting them is encouraged as they may be used to determine eligibility for certain scholarships.

Direct Admission allows high-performing high school seniors (GPA of 3.0+) to bypass the competitive application process for limited-enrollment health science programs, such as Nursing, Sonography, and Radiologic Technology.
You need to submit a completed online application and your official high school transcripts. If you have already graduated, a GED certificate is also accepted.
Baker College recommends applying early in your senior year. If you are seeking “Direct Admission” into health programs, you must submit all materials by February 1 of your senior year.
To be eligible for admission to the Center for Graduate Studies, applicants must:
Hold an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Submit a completed graduate application and a current resume.
